This has long
been a favourite among acoustic guitarists and it has one of the most
distinctive openings of any Beatles tune.
This video lesson is to learn what I call a 'Performance' Version. This
means you can play this as an instrumental 'standalone' or you can sing
along to it (the audience will) or you can play it along with other
musicians . . .and it will be warmly received by all.
This is all played fingerstyle and so favours a steel strung acoustic
guitar (though you may think differently)
One of the parts of this song that has confused people in the past is
the
little twiddly run during the chorus.
I've seen this tabbed in so many
different ways on the web and some of them have been virtually
unplayable by mere
mortals like us but . . . my version of that section is very easy and
sounds just great.
